What an amazing experience. Amazing friendly people all coming together for great cause.
FGTAHJCIAOOTWE – Friends Getting Together And Having Joyful Camaraderie In And Out Of The Woods Expedition. Camping in 13°F conditions was a new experience.
We embattled -10° temperatures (up to -30° with the wind chill) to complete one of the best Winter Romps to date. Thanks again to Bruce Fowler for hosting another year.
September 19, 2015 – We had a great day out on the river with the Sherborn Forest and Trail Association. We had kayaks, canoes, and a few standup paddle boards. We found a side streak that ended at a beaver lodge and cleaned up a ton of trash along the way.
I finally made it back out on the trails to help pre-run for the 2015 Vermont Overland VOMAR event.
As I did in 2013, I have again committed to raising money for cancer research by riding in the 2015 Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). I will be riding in memory of my sister Shareen Abbasy who battled with cancer for almost 10 years and passed away in 2009. On the first weekend in August, I will join 5,500 cyclists in the PMC ride, that raises money for research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston. I spent many days with my sister Shareen at Dana-Farber.
I hope I can count on your support! I’ve made a personal commitment to ride and raise $4,500. So I hope you can help me achieve this significant goal.
To donate to my PMC ride, please use the following links:
The PMC raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country, $455 million since 1980 and $41 million last year alone! This success is the result of a lot of people riding for, and caring about, a cure. And because every penny matters, 100 percent of your donation goes to DFCI.
Wow, what a weekend. We had some laughs, had
some a lot of struggles, and made it home in one piece. We are a few steps closer to Winter Romp 2015. To seem my full photo gallery on Flickr, click here or view the slideshow below.
