December 2001 – My sister Shareen on the beach during her first cancer. I consider this to be the best photo I’ve ever taken.
My sister Shareen had cancer 4 times and passed away in 2009. We spent many years at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and this year, I’ve committed to raising money for cancer research by riding in the 2013 Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC). On the first weekend in August, I will join 5,500 cyclists in the PMC ride, an annual bike-a-thon that raises money for research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. I am doing the full 190 mile ride from Sturbridge to Provincetown.
Each rider is required to raise $4300. Your donation is tax deductible and 100% will go to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
About a year ago, my Apple Airport Extreme died. I brogut it to the Apple store and they said it wasn’t repairable. What do do with this old piece of hardware? I decided to take off the top cover and rubber bottom and glue them together. I now have the perfect Apple coaster that matches my minimalistic Apple computer and accessories.
